Tonight’s evening drink is “OhmiTobei” by MasumotoTobei Shuzojo.
It is a “Yamahai Junmai Nama Gensyu” made with Ginfubuki rice.
The first impression is a nice aroma, which is rather light, but also has a strong and intense flavor, which is typical of Japanese sake.
It seems to be an easy-drinking type of sake.
The first bite was easy, but the spiciness came as a surprise.
The gap between the smoothness of the initial mouthfeel and the spiciness felt afterward is interesting.
The label reads “Sake Degree” +5 and “Acidity” 1.8. It seems like I’ve been drinking a lot of dry sake recently.
Of course, it is very easy to drink with a good aroma, smooth mouthfeel, and moderate aftertaste.
No problem at all with sashimi dishes or fried foods. It is a delicious sake.
