Went to Sushi Kappo “Mozu”.

Sometimes it is good to have “Tasty food” instead of “Tasty ShigaSake”.

As a small consolation party, we went to ”Mozu”, a sushi kappo restaurant on Shibutani Street.

I left the cooking to the chef, but asked for less because I am a senior.

First, sashimi.

The sashimi is wonderfully resilient and crunchy.

Of course, no matter how good the sashimi I buy, it is a far cry from the sashimi I eat at home.

Next, grilled guji.

This is the king of grilled fish in Kyoto!

Next, grilled albacore.

When I eat it with salt, the rich flavor of the milt spreads into my mouth, and it is irresistible.

Steamed turnips with shrimp, ginnan and various other ingredients.

The thick bean paste is delicious. Lily root, for example, makes my mouth feel relaxed.

Grilled eggplant with two-color miso paste.

I had it hot. The white miso was super good.

Nama-fu with thickened bean paste.

Good glutinous Nama-fu is good. I love it!

Finally, a light meal of sushi.

It’s sushi kappo, we can finish off our meal perfectly.

It was a fun time. Thank you again tonight, Mozu!
