Best Lunch(1) Keitokuchin

This is the “Best Lunch in My Memory”. This lunch was one of the most impressive and delicious meals I had in Chinatown.

Please take your time and enjoy.

Wok-fried Beef and Vegetables

Lunch was in Chinatown.
Went to “Keitokuchin” on Ichiba Street.

This week’s “lunch menu”.

Today it’s “Wok-fried Beef and Vegetables with Chili Peppers”.

Immediately, rice, soup, and two small plates.

Soup is Chinese flavor. It contains shredded Chinese pickles, pork, and tofu. It has a mildly salty taste and is delicious.

Small plates are tamari pickles and corn.

After a short wait, the “beef and vegetables” arrived.

Suddenly, the smell of garlic. I saw it as a hard type of chili, pepper, and garlic.

Lotus root, garlic sprouts, celery, green onion, and red bell pepper. Everyone is soaked in the spiciness…

There are many bite-sized pieces of beef.

I picked up a piece of beef and bit into it, and the spicy flavor spread out from the sticky texture. Oh, no, it’s Szechuan style. Delicious!

The spiciness was about KD5, but there was a lot of pepper on it, and as I chewed on it, I couldn’t stop sweating. It was pretty hard.

Of course, the vegetables are all cooked just right. In particular, the crunchiness of lotus root and celery is irresistible. They are doing a great job.

I finished the meal completely. Dessert of apricot jelly.

The refreshing syrup moistened my mouth, which was numbed by the pepper.
It was an exquisite and delicious lunch.
