Best Lunch(15) Keitokuchin

This is the “Best Lunch in My Memory”. This lunch was one of the most impressive and delicious meals I had in Chinatown.

Please take your time and enjoy.

Scallops and Vegetables in Soy Sauce

Lunch was in Chinatown.
Went to “Keitokuchin” on Ichiba Street.

This week’s “lunch menu”.

Today I requested “scallops and vegetables in soy sauce”.

Immediately, rice, soup, and two small plates.

Today’s soup is with shark fins. I feel like I’ve had a string of good luck with lunch soups recently.

One of the small plates is the usual tamari pickles. The other is steamed chicken, cucumber, tomato, and kikurage mushrooms with hot oil. It is tangy, spicy, and very tasty.

A few minutes later, “scallop stew” appeared.

As expected, big scallops, not mini scallops.

It has both scallop liver and string and looks very tasty.

I immediately snapped a big scallop. Yes, it was delicious! It has been a long time since I had a large scallop for lunch in Chinatown.

Three magnificent scallops and a variety of vegetables, mainly Chinese cabbage.

The sweet soy sauce sauce soaks into the scallops, giving them a delicious Chinese flavor.

The shiitake mushrooms were especially great, soaked with flavor.

I finished it as fast as I could and ended up with apricot pudding.

The small plates, soups, and of course the main dish were all very delicious!
