(80) Emishiki “Sensation Black”

Tonight’s Shiga Sake is here. This is Emishiki Shuzo’s Emishiki “Sensation Black”.

Drink Emishiki “Sensation” two days in a row. Compare “White” and “Black”. This is also not Hiire, but Namazake, which is available only in early winter.

The first impression of the scent is fresh and cool. This scent is similar to “White”. However, “Black” is a little sharper.

And when I took a sip, I thought I would get the same taste of sweetness, but unexpectedly it was not sweet.

It was smooth on the palate, but tangy and spicy. More pungent than the “White” and conversely less sweet and sour.

When drinking “Black” alone, it does not seem dry at all, but when compared with “White”, the impression changes to “White is sweet, Black is dry”. It is very interesting.

Both are delicious and to my liking. However, I think “Black” would be better to match with meals.

This completes the five delicious “Sensation” varieties. Next time I would like to try something other than “Sensation”.
