(73) NaminoOto “Arabashiri”

Tonight’s ShigaSake is here. This is NaminoOto Shuzo’s NaminoOto “Arabashiri”.

This is the time of year when various sake are named “arabashiri,” “shiboritate,” “hatsushibori,” etc., and they all have a nice New Year’s feeling to them.

Of course we can drink it at the end of the year, but we prefer to drink it in the New Year in the hope of good fortune.

The first impression of the aroma is that it is a good aroma typical of sake, as the label says “mellow aroma”. I had the feeling that it was a very rich drink.

When I put it in my mouth, it was as expected, or rather, sweet! It is thick!

The sweetness, deliciousness, and richness of the rice spreads all over my mouth. I chew it slowly and the sweetness goes even stronger. Delicious!

When gulped down, it leaves a lingering sweetness in the aftertaste as well. It is a representative sake of the “sweetness = deliciousness” concept.

Because of its sweet, dark, and strong flavor, it is best to drink it with sake as the main ingredient.

It will be gone in no time, haha.
