(72) Asazio “Kuma Anani Komoru”

Tonight’s ShigaSake is here. This is Hirai Syoten’s Asazio “Kuma Anani Komoru”.

The label says that the name means new sake to be served when the bears are preparing for hibernation (December 12-16).

“Watch out for the crown popping out!” I was scared to open it, but there was no problem.

The first impression of the aroma is a bit savory. The previous “Sekirei Naku” was sweet and fresh, so I went for the same image, but maybe it was different?

Then I took a sip and… wow! Spicy! Oh no, that’s totally different, haha.

The moment I drink it, a tangy sourness arrives, followed by a sudden surge of spiciness.

It has the full flavor of Mizukagami rice, but it is a very tough sake, completely different from “Sekirei Naku“.

However, when I recommended it to a family member who is a sweet tooth, he said, “Wow, it’s spicy,” but then lapped it up, saying, “But it’s delicious”.

It is a bit strange, but it seems to go well with tonight’s dish. Incidentally, the dishes at that time were yellowtail and tuna marinated in soy sauce.

The sake itself had a good flavor, and eventually ran out. It’s so good!
