Tonight’s ShigaSake is here. This is Kitajima Shuzo’s Miyosakae “Sakahan Miyosakae”.
Actually, I had bought this sake last year, but I could not find the courage to drink it, so I put it aside.
The reason is the price. It is 830yen without tax! Isn’t it too cheap? haha.
I first tried it chilled, and the aroma was mild and not bad. It is interesting that it has a slightly nutty aroma.
One sip and I get a sweet mouthfeel. It is a medium sweet sake with a sourness and a bit of spiciness that comes later.
It doesn’t have the sticky feel of cheap alcohol at all, and is just plain tasty and easy to drink. Not bad at all.
Then, when I tried heating it up, the flavor did not change much, but the acidity became a little stronger.
It is a little sweet, but I think it is perfectly acceptable as a food sake.
Oh no, I shouldn’t have any preconceived notions. This is a great price and a great taste. I thought it was wonderful.
- Alc:15%
- Price : 720ml 913yen
Thanks to today’s Shigasake.
