Tonight’s ShigaSake is here. Masumoto Shuzojo’s UsuSakura “Shiboritate Nama Junmai”.
I tried it well chilled, the first thing to notice is the gentle, pleasant aroma typical of Japanese sake.
And when I took a sip, “Oh, it’s spicy”, haha.
I was struck first by the spiciness, but it was a refreshingly dry sake with just the right amount of acidity and spiciness.
Even though it is spicy, it is moderately dry and has a freshly squeezed flavor, making it a very drinkable sake.
This makes it a perfect match for the food. Since it is the season, it is best to match it with Osechi.
It’s so taste.
I have been drinking “Shiboritate” and “Hatsu Shibori” since the end of the year, and they are all delicious. It’s the best!
