Tonight’s evening drink is Matsuse Shuzo’s Matsunotsukasa “Kimoto Junmaisyu”.
I was prepared for a tough sake since it is called “Kimoto Junmaisyu”.
However, my first impression of the aroma was gentle and elegant.
Then I took a sip in the glass and the mouthfeel was smooth. It came with moderate spiciness, but no pungent spiciness or acidity.
Even so, the umami of the rice felt in the mouth is rich! It is a firm, rich flavor that can be described as “KimotoDukuri” indeed.
I couldn’t help but mumble, “It’s so good!
The spiciness comes with a tangy taste at the throat, and there is a lingering aftertaste of delicious rice flavor.
The rich flavor of “KimotoDukuri” is well expressed, while its peculiarities are kept to a minimum, making it an easy-to-drink sake.
It is a very tasty and rich sake!
