(49) Taga “AkinoUta Junmaishu”

Tonight’s evening drink is Taga’s Taga “AkinoUta Junmaishu”.

In my ignorance, I thought “AkinoUta” was the name of “Hiyaoroshi”, but it was the type of rice. Sorry for my ignorance.

I immediately tried it well chilled.

First, when I put the glass close to my face, the aroma is better than expected. It is fruity and refreshing.

When I say “better than expected,” I mean value for money. The fragrance at this price is nothing short of amazing.

I took a sip and found that it was mild on the palate, but spicy and sour flavors soon appeared. It is a light dry taste.

It also has a clean and crisp aftertaste that goes well with any dish. Delicious.

This is a good sake with both a refreshing aroma and a clean dry taste.

This is the first time I’ve had sake made with “AkinoUta”, but I hear there are others, and I’d love to find and drink them!
