(46) Furosen “Soma no Tengu”

Tonight’s evening drink is UeharaShuzo’s Furosen “SomanoTengu Junmai Ginjo Usunigori NamaGensyu”.

Both on the official website and at the KatoSaketen, it is said to be “the most popular of all Furoisen products”. How wonderful!

When I put my face close to the glass, the first thing that hits me is the typical yet refreshing aroma of sake.

And when I take a sip, I feel a pleasant spiciness, followed by sourness.

Sake degree +3, acidity 2.0. It is not a sweet sake, but it is a good sake that is easy to drink.

My family repeats “delicious, delicious”.

I ask, “Aren’t you more of a sweet, fruity kind of drinker?” But she doesn’t care, haha.

I would be tempted to favor the “Furosen” for my own tastes, but I think they are both very fine sakes.
