SuuroSaikan Bekkan (Shanghai)

SuuroSaikan was established in 1961. Bekkan opened in 1998 in front of Zenrin Gate in Chinatown.

It is a restaurant that offers a variety of Shanghai cuisine, emphasizing seasonal ingredients.

SuuroSaikan‘s signature dish is “Braised Pork Belly with Skin in Soy Sauce”. It is what is called “Tomporo”. It is a Shanghai dish of slow-cooked pork belly with soy sauce, sugar, and Shaoxing wine.

Suuro MaboDofu” and “Suuro Chasyu” are also popular delicacies.

In Chinatown, you can enjoy food at Honkan, Bekkan, and Shinkan.
