This is the “Best Lunch in My Memory”. This lunch was one of the most impressive and delicious meals I had in Chinatown.
Please take your time and enjoy.
Wok-fried beef and onion, and other
Lunch was in Chinatown.
We went to “Kyokaro Honkan” on Kanteibyo Street.
This week’s “Lunch Menu”.
Today’s order is left to my companion. The “Wok-fried Beef and Onion with Tochi Sauce” and “Wok-fried White-fleshed fish with Sansyo Pepper and Chili Peppers” were the selections.
First, the usual set of four items.
Today’s soup contains eringi mushrooms. There were many eringi mushrooms in the soup.
First came the “White-fleshed fish”.
The appearance is simple.
But green peppers and red peppers. The coloring is elegant and quite pleasing.
I immediately tried a large slice of fish.
The tender slices are well covered with the spiciness of sansho and chili peppers.
The aroma of garlic, the sweetness of green onion, and the oil that is a combination of all of them are pleasant.
It’s spicy and oily, but it’s good! I knew the cook is good.
Later, “Stir-fried beef”
Onions, bell peppers, and red peppers. And dotted with black beans.
This one, too, is full of delicious-looking light even before we eat it.
When we tried it, it was a mix of flavors with a special sauce, not just the tochi flavor.
The tender beef is delicious with its sauce. The vegetables are good and so is the meat.
We are completely finished and full. Dessert: apricot pudding.
It was a very satisfying lunch with a very good assortment of dishes.
