(31) Shinkai “il tuono d’autunno”

Tonight’s evening drink is here. This is Fujimoto Shuzo’s Shinkai “il tuono d’autunno”.

The name means “autumn thunder” in Italian. The picture of a cute little demon is very relaxing.

The first thing I smell is a gorgeous, fruity ginjo aroma. Many “ShigaSake” have a good aroma, but this aroma is a very high level of pleasantness.

And when I sip it, a soft sweetness comes to my mouth, making it easy to drink. The sake-like taste is subdued, and the refreshing taste is brought to the forefront.

In the mouth, sweetness, acidity, and mild spiciness are well balanced and very tasty.

It is easy to swallow and has a clean aftertaste. I can’t say enough about it.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a limited edition sake and not always available.

If a brewery were to market this kind of sake as a standard item, I am sure it would be a nationwide hit, but what do you think?

  • Grade : 3 (RPR:55%)
  • Rice : Ginfubuki
  • Alc:16%
  • Price : 720ml 1,650yen

Thanks to today’s ShigaSake.
