Tonight’s evening drink is here. This is YoshidaShuzo’s Chikubushima “Junmai TenYuIkkon”.
When I put the glass close to my face, it smells somewhat cool and I have a feeling that it is a refreshing sake.
When I took a sip, it was mild and easy to drink. However, it is not sweet, but rather crisp and dry.
It wasn’t a “refreshing” type of sweetness. My hunch was wrong, haha.
However, it is not tingling when swallowed, and is a moderately spicy sake with good sharpness.
It has a clean aftertaste and goes well with any dish.
Since we were in the mood, we also tried it warmed up.
It was mellower and more acidic, making it even easier to drink. I think I like this one better.
It can be served cold or warmed and goes well with all kinds of food. It is a sake to enjoy long autumn nights.
