(26) Harunomine “Junmai Ginjo”

Tonight’s evening drink is here. This is Tanaka Shuzo’s Harunomine “Junmai Ginjo Tamasakae55”.

This sake is RPR:55% junmai ginjo, but my first impression of the aroma is not “light” but rather “sharp” or “light-heavy”.

Everyday I think, there are many different kinds of sake and many different aromas. It is interesting and fun.

The mouthfeel is mellow and easy to drink. It feels like an aromatic and sweet sake.

However, the sweetness soon disappears and the spiciness appears. And the spiciness says, “I am really a dry sake”.

And the spiciness and moderate acidity mix well to create a unique and delicious flavor.

It is a little tangy when swallowed, but it disappears quickly and is very sharp.

It’s delicious and interesting. I like this drink.
