Best Lunch(24) Shimonshuro

This is the “Best Lunch in My Memory”. This lunch was one of the most impressive and delicious meals I had in Chinatown.

Please take your time and enjoy.

Toast Lunch with Lunchtime Beer

A period of hard work is over, We have a rewarding lunch today.

We went to “Shimonshuro” on Chuzanro Street.

After consulting with my companion, we decided to have a beer with two lunch items and finish with noodles.

Orders were: bottle beer, “two Chinese appetizers,” “stir-fried chicken and pumpkin with sweet soybean paste,” and “hot and sour noodles with oysters + mini rice bowl with pork belly“.

First, “chicken and pumpkin”. It goes well with beer.

The tender chicken meat and the crunchy pumpkin that has a little bit of shape to it is very good.

More and more beer went into my stomach.

This is “Two kinds of Chinese appetizers”.

I was expecting something like “chashu pork,” “liver,” or “roasted pork with skin,” but I got something completely different.

In the front is “Gizzard and celery salad“. In the back is “Dried tohu and Takana salad“.

And they’re both delicious. The beer runs low, even more than the “chicken and pumpkin.”

Anyone who eats rice with this is a fool! , haha.

We felt good after two beers and then had the “hot and sour noodles”.

The noodles are al dente with plump oysters in abundance.

The hot oil and pepper give it just the right amount of spiciness. It is really a tasty dish.

This is “Mini Chashu-don”.

In a small bowl, there were five pieces of chashu pork! This pork was thick, moist, and delicious!

Both the takana and the greens are delicious. Well, that’s a really high level.

Last but not least, lunch desserts. We had three lunches, so we had three desserts.

Mango pudding“, “apricot pudding“, “and Shaoxing wine mousse“. They are all perfectly delicious.
