Best Lunch(21) Toki

This is the “Best Lunch in My Memory”. This lunch was one of the most impressive and delicious meals I had in Chinatown.

Please take your time and enjoy.

Wok-fried pig’s feet with soy sauce

Lunch was in Chinatown.
I went to “Toki” on Tainan-syoji Street.

This week’s “Lunch Menu”.

Today I ordered Wok-fried pig’s feet with soy sauce.

The usual picture…, not!

Today’s pickles are pickled plums! What a surprise!

I ate it with trepidation and found it sweet and tasty. The seeds are removed so it is easy to eat.

A few minutes later, rice and “oink oink” were delivered.

That’s a lot of pig’s feet on a deep plate.

Glossy and shiny “oink oink”. Below, there are Chinese cabbages all over.

I immediately took a bite of “oink oink”.

The sweet taste and aroma of soy sauce should have come to me, but it didn’t!

Spicy! Spicy~! Too spicy!

I have no idea where the necessity of making soy sauce dish so spicy comes from.

Maybe it’s a cook’s prank, haha.

The “oink oink” is for beer, but the sauce-covered Chinese cabbages are very good with rice.

However, I prefer the soy sauce to be sweeter.
