(20) Taga “Junmai Ginjo Hiyaoroshi”

Tonight’s evening drink is here. This is Taga’s Taga “Junmai Ginjo Hiyaoroshi”.

It has been “Hiyaoroshi” three times in a row. It will be chilled again today.

The label is “Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki”, but the RPR:50%. It is Junmai Daiginjo class.

And “100% Yamadanishiki produced in Hyogo Prefecture” sounds very high class!

When I put my face close to the glass, the aroma is mild with a clear feeling.

I gently sip it and it tastes smooth and uncluttered.

The sweetness of the rice comes first, followed by a sharp dryness. It is neither too sweet nor too dry, just the right balance.

It is also smooth on the throat, and the aftertaste is smooth and fades away quickly.

I had fish in soy sauce for a dish, and both the sake and the fish were delicious.

It is a fine quality sake with a very clear feel.

  • Grade : 3 (RPR:50%)
  • Rice : Hyogo YamadaNishiki
  • Alc : 16%
  • Price : 720ml 1,750yen

Thanks to today’s ShigaSake.
