(76) Tenjogawa “Tokubetsu Junmai”

Tonight’s ShigaSake is here. This is Furukawa Shuzo’s Tenjogawa “Tokubetsu Junmai Nama Gensyu”.

Following the “Junmai Ginjo”, it is Tenjogawa again. Let’s compare the two!

First of all, the fragrance is fresh and good. It is not the fruity ginko aroma of junmai ginjo, but rather a sake-like aroma.

The first sip is rather sweet. It is not spicy, but the acidity and spiciness are stronger than those of junmai ginjo, giving it a strong flavor.

The acidity and spiciness seem to complement the Umami of Mizukagami well, giving it a well-balanced taste and intensity.

When swallowed, the sake has a freshness of Nama Gensyu and is crisp and clean.

This may be a better match for a meal than Junmai Ginjo.

“Tokubetsu Junmai” and “Junmai Ginjo”. If you ask me to choose one or the other, I can’t do it!

Both are delicious, so I’ll have both, haha.
