(71) Matsunotsukasa “Junmaisyu”

Tonight’s ShigaSake is here. This is Matsuse Shuzo’s Matsunotsukasa “Junmaisyu”.

After “Tokubetsu Junmaisyu” and “Kimoto Junmaisyu,” the third bottle in the MatsunoTsukasa “Junmaishu” series is an ordinary “Junmaishu”. How are they really different?

First I put the glass close to my face, The first impression of the fragrance is mild. It is a little strange that it smells a little bit like chocolate.

And when I take a sip, the mouthfeel is sweet, mellow, gentle and elegant. The acidity and spiciness felt at that time are also pleasant without being harsh.

It has a strong flavor and sweetness, but it is mild and gentle.

It has a cool, refreshing feeling in the throat, and the umami flavor disappears quickly and smoothly. Delicious!

I have a feeling that many people will become fans of this gentle tasting sake.

I also tried it warmed up, and it turned out to be a superb and unexpected experience.

The gentle aroma has become stronger, and the flavor and sweetness have increased dramatically.

This is good. I am tempted to declare a win for the warmer. It’s delicious!
