Tonight’s evening drink is here. This is OkamuraHonke’s Kinkame “Red Nama Genshu”.
This is a very rare sake that has not been polished at all (rice polishing ratio:100%).
The first thing that surprises me is the truly unique aroma and color.
It has a unique aroma that makes it hard to believe it is ordinary sake, and the color is a beautiful golden color.
If I told a woman who didn’t know much about sake that “this is a Northern European liqueur” she might believe me, haha.
At a slightly lower 14% alcohol, it is less stimulating on the palate and easy to drink with the sweetness of the rice and moderate acidity.
And the unique flavor of this sake continues to be present from the palate to the lingering aftertaste.
However, the flavor is very unique, and I think there are two types of people: those who will love it, and those who will avoid it because of its peculiar taste. It may not be for everyone.
I think it is super tasty, but how does everyone watching feel about it?
Please give it a try.
