(18) Chikubushima “Ginjo Hiyaoroshi”

Tonight’s evening drink is here. This is YoshidaShuzo’s Chikubushima “Ginjo Hiyaoroshi”.

The so-called “Hiyaoroshi” has an image of being enjoyed with hot sake when it starts to get cold.

However, due to global warming, it is not yet the season for hot sake.

Although it is such a season, this “Hiyaoroshi” is a “ginjo once-Hiire” and “requires refrigeration”. And the label says, “Calm aroma, mild taste. Drink chilled.”

I thought, “This is good,” so I chilled it and had it in a glass.

The first impression is a subdued aroma of rice. The mouthfeel is smooth and uninspired.

It’s mellow, like a good rice juice in my mouth. Just as it says on the label, haha.

Perhaps because of the lack of sweetness, the spiciness comes a little bit through the throat.

But it also has a clean aftertaste and seems to go with everything. And I can drink as much as I want.

It is a very tasty and easy to drink sake.

Thanks to today’s ShigaSake.
